What is linen, exactly?

Linen is a natural fibre made from the flax plant. It needs almost no water to grow, no pesticides, and no irrigation — making it one of the most sustainable fabrics on earth. It's also breathable, antibacterial, and gets softer with every wear.

Will linen feel scratchy?

New linen has a crisp hand. After two or three washes, it softens beautifully. Most customers say it becomes their favourite fabric within a week.

Is linen underwear breathable enough for daily wear?

Yes — linen is one of the most breathable natural fibres. It moves air better than cotton and keeps you cool in summer, warm in winter.

How should I wash my NOMÈI?

Cool wash at 40°C maximum, inside out, in a mesh bag. Air dry. Don't tumble dry, don't bleach. See our Linen Care page for the full ritual.

How do I know my size?

See our Size Guide. If you're between sizes, size up — linen has very little stretch.

Do you ship outside the EU?

Not yet. We're focused on the EU for our first chapter. Sign up to the journal and we'll let you know when we expand.

Can I return underwear?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, as long as the piece is unworn, unwashed, and has all original tags and packaging. See our Shipping & Returns page.

Where is NOMÈI made?

Cut and sewn in small batches in Europe, from OEKO-TEX® certified European linen.

Why are you small batch?

Because we'd rather sell out than overproduce. When something is gone, we sit with it before we restock — sometimes for weeks. Slow is part of the brand.
