Linen Care
Linen is one of the strongest natural fibres in the world. Looked after simply, your NOMÈI pieces only get softer and more beautiful, lasting for years rather than seasons. Here is everything you need to keep them at their best.
Wash
Machine wash cool at 30 to 40°C on a gentle cycle. Turn pieces inside out and use a mesh laundry bag. A mild detergent is all you need.
Dry
Air drying is best and keeps linen at its strongest. For extra softness, a short tumble on low heat for 5 to 10 minutes, then finish in the air.
Iron
Iron on low while slightly damp, or skip it. The soft, natural creases of linen are part of its charm.
Store
Fold and keep in a dry drawer. Linen breathes, so it never needs plastic or airtight storage.
Refresh
Linen is breathable and naturally resists odour, so it needs washing less often. Air pieces out between wears.
Avoid
No bleach. No fabric softener, which coats the fibres. No hot machine drying, and no dry cleaning.
Washed and worn with a little care, linen rewards you. It grows softer with every wash and can last for decades, not seasons.
